With priority given to women and men patients for the uninsured and underinsured located in lower income communities for annual breast exams, diagnostic breast exams, breast biopsies and resources for medical supplies. VMKF is also aware that early detection is the key to saving lives as it regards Breast Cancer and will partner with medical facilities to provide free mammograms and diagnostic breast care services to underserved women in the communities.

You are not alone. Rates of breast cancer vary among different groups of people. Rates vary between women and men and among people of different ethnicities and ages. They vary around the world and across the U.S.  In 2020, it is estimated among women in the United States there will be 276,480 new cases of invasive breast cancer and 48,530 new cases of noninvasive breast cancer.
